The world has become heavily dependent upon electricity to make it work. Everything that we do, from heating our homes to running our tools, energy is vital. Before the discovery of electrical power, light was provided by lanterns, and heat was furnished by matches and wood, without any alternatives. Ultimately, whole towns and cities could be lit up without any effort on our part.

These are excellent short-term solutions, but up to now there are no long-term storage capabilities for solar power. Another way to saving heat from solar energy is using thermo-chemical phase. Examples of these storage types include paraffin wax and Eutectic Salts.
If you put paraffin wax inside a storage tank, the wax continues to be a solid while it is cold, but once it is heated, it becomes a liquid which will hold its heat for a long period. Even when it cools down and gets hard, the wax still is able to keep heat. Eutectic Salts is yet another way to keep heat and it basically stays warmer than Paraffin wax. Another effective way to save solar energy is by using Molten Salts, which will be used to create steam. This happens as the salt mixture is heated up during the time the storage tank is heated. The energy that is produced can be stored in rechargeable batteries which can be used for later. Lead acid battery is the most popular battery utilized for this job.
There are quite a few ways to save natural energy, but so far they aren't as practical or efficient as they should be. As soon as we discover an efficient way to keep energy, we will be able to have an unlimited supply of heat.
